Updated: May 30

Sleeve Notes

It can be a real eye opener transitioning from education to the first stage of your career.

You may know exactly what you want to do, which is great.

There will be a number of you out there thinking the exact opposite or perhaps you are somewhere in-between?

In my late teens and twenties I didn't think too much about what motivated me and played to my strengths, skills and qualities, but what if I had a tool to help me consider the things that really motivated me, then apply this to future opportunities most likely to suit me?

Side 1 - What's the answer?... Motivational Maps, tailor made for this moment!

  • Identifies what really motivates you.

  • Determines through coaching, what your top motivators may mean for your career choices.

  • Demonstrates why all motivators play a part in your life, even the one's that are supposedly least important.

  • Focuses on 3 clusters of motivation.

  1. Your relationships.

  2. Your own achievements.

  3. Your individual growth.

  • Doing what really motivates you = more energy = greater productivity.

Side 2 - How do Motivational Maps work?

  • You fill out a questionnaire called a Self Perception Inventory.

  • You'll get the best and most accurate results if you fill it out honestly and don't over think it.

  • You will get a copy of the report ahead of our coaching session together.

  • At the coaching session I will be keen to know what you have noticed about your report before we go through it together.

  • Coaching with me will help you determine what's really important for you now in your life/career, why it is important now and what may happen if what motivates you now is absent in life and work.

Side 3 - What results will I see?

  • You will know where to focus your energy.

  • You will be more productive in everything you do.

  • You'll have stronger relationships because you know what you want and you'll have a better understanding of what motivates others, especially important if theirs are different to yours.

  • It will help you to make better choices for yourself in your career & life, if you become clear about what is important to you right now.

Side 4 - Does it work?

  • Yes, I wouldn't be advocating it if it didn't.

  • It has helped me and my clients work out what was missing in our lives.

  • It helped us focus on what we really wanted rather than wasting energy on the things we felt we should be doing.

  • It gave us a greater appreciation and understanding of other people's motivations, especially when they were different to ours, creating healthier relationships.

  • Because motivations change throughout our lives, I tend to complete one on myself every couple of years, especially if I feel i'm not achieving my full potential.

The Download

Motivational Maps will tell you so much about yourself, some things you may already know but have neglected, some things you may have forgotten and some things you didn't even realise.

From personal experience I can tell you it was a real wake up call to live MY life to MY fullest potential, guided by the motivators that are really important to ME.

Bottom line - Motivational Maps puts you in charge of your destiny!
